Full Service General Contractor offers home additions, remodels, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor spaces. Since 1996 we have offered our services to DFW but primarily in the East Dallas and Park Cities, as we are based in the Casa Linda area.
The O’Brien Group Inc. was incorporated in 2006 after operating under the sole proprietorship of House Calls which was founded in 2002 shortly after his first daughter was born. The company is owned and operated by Shannon O’Brien still to this day. Since then he has amassed a large client base including both residential and commercial clients. From tenant finish outs to kitchens, bathrooms and whole house renovations, The O’Brien Group has gained valuable experience and many new relationships over this time.
We have established a successful business by focusing on customer satisfaction and attention to detail. We pride ourselves on our word-of-mouth referrals and repeat customers. Highest recommendation possible! We have used Shannon and his company twice – once a few years ago to do a resurfacing of our living room fireplace, build a hearth and mantle and paint our 14 ft high living room. We had 3 other contractors come out and say the job couldn’t be done (we wanted to turn our semicircular fireplace opening into a rectangle to look more modern) but Shannon completed it without issue. We were out of the country while he did the work and when we came back the job was finished as promised and the house clean.

We went through several local GC’s that wouldn’t give us the time of day. Shannon was immediately responsive and never stopped being so throughout the project. The usual ups and downs with any home reno were always met with “we’ll take care of it.” I have nothing but high regard for Shannon and his crew and subs. I strongly recommend you give them a shout if you want a GC that still takes pride in their work.
