Bridge the Digital and Income Gap through Education at AdTech
At ADTech, our mission is to bridge the gap in digital and income inequality. We empower economically disadvantaged children and adults in Houston through education.
In 2024, the opportunity gap between the rich and poor is significant. This gap limits access to life-changing STEM education for children from low-income families. At ADTech, we offer STEM learning programs to open doors to brighter futures. It is the perfect form of education to bridge income inequality.
Since 1950, there has been no progress in income equality between Black and white households. This stark reality drives our determination to make a difference. We aim to inspire future engineers and scientists through our technical training in Houston.
Dula is a former financial analyst and manager at JPMorgan Chase. He has devoted his life to community service and education. He has taught at universities such as Jackson State University and the University of Houston. Charlie Lindahl is a lifelong computer engineer who has joined Dula in this mission. With over 40 years of experience, Charlie has worked in large corporations, academia, and startups. Together, Dula and Charlie lead ADTech with a vision of creating opportunities for the underserved.
At ADTech, we prioritize delivering high quality education for mobility and addresses systemic racial inequality in America. Our programs, include communication in the importance of tech and specialized training in STEM education that are designed to equip underserved communities with cutting-edge skills essential for future careers.
We try to excite young minds to join and fall in love with tech by using using various methods inclung Drone technology, 3D-Printing, games and more. This training offers students a glimpse into rapidly evolving industries. It is creating new opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. By focusing on these advanced fields, we aim to bridge the technological divide and ensure that our students are not left behind in the digital age.
Our commitment goes beyond just teaching – it’s about empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate and succeed in the modern workforce. At ADTech, we are dedicated to transforming the state of Black America through education. We firmly believe that it is a powerful catalyst for overcoming barriers and achieving social and economic equality in our country.
