Barbette Lee Justice, age 68, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away July 14, 2023, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
Barbette was born September 5, 1954, in Boyd County, Kentucky to the late Warnie Justice and Barbara Jean (Hogan) Justice Kitchen.
Barbette worked in the medical field as a nurse’s aide and a ward clerk, and later as an advertising coordinator in the newspaper industry. Barbette was a talented woodworker and tole painter. She served her community as the Louisa Septemberfest Arts & Crafts Event Chair. She loved going junkin’ and antiquing.
In addition to her parents, Barbette was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Clifton Justice and James Stephen Justice and several aunts, uncles and nephews.
Barbette is survived by two sisters, Chimila (Darrin) Hargett of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Robin (Dale) Webb of Waterloo, Ohio; one brother Warren “Buddy” Justice of Florida; a sister-in-law Melissa Justice of Loganville, Georgia.
Other survivors include: four nephews, Andrew (Erin) Justice of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Samuel Justice of Loganville, Georgia, Fred (Michelle) Webb of Pedro, Ohio, Chris (Kristy) Webb of Kitts Hill, Ohio; one niece, Monica Webb of Waterloo, Ohio; several great, and great-great, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
