Bessie Chandler, 67, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 3, 2023.
Bessie was born July 25, 1956 in Louisa, KY to the late Ona Thompson and Edna (Fraley) Leverett.
Bessie was preceded in death by her father Ona Thompson; mother and stepfather Edna and Ralph Leverett; husband Paul Chandler; sister in law Julie Thompson; and brother in law Bernard Nelson.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law Toby and Shawn Marcum; grandchildren Beretta (David) Farmer, Preston Williams, Braxton Marcum, and Peyton Marcum; siblings Jimmy Leon Thompson, Peggy Nelson, and Patty (Mack) Ferrell; her nieces and nephews; and special friend Helen Holt.
A memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Chandler and her family.
