Betty J. Howard, 91, of Louisa, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home.
Betty was born February 24, 1932 in Accoville, WV to the late Ernest and Josephine (Workman) Dick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Howard; brothers Eugene Dick and Paul Dick; and sisters Cassie Blitchington and Edith Haywood.
Survivors include daughters Tresa Mullett (George Cremeans) of Lewis Center, OH, Sharon (Larry) Thompson of Fort Gay, WV, and Kathy (Albert) Ferguson of Louisa, KY; sons Paul (Linda) Harless of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Gary (Judy) Harless of Louisa, KY, and Vernon Harless of Lewis Center, OH; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters Mable (Mike) Springer, Janet Davidson, Anna Lee Slaidins, and Glenna Foreman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
