Claude Robert Bowens, 51, of Fort Gay, WV. passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Claude was born August 11, 1964 in Louisa, Kentucky a son of Dicie Ratcliff Bowens and the late Oscar Bowens. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bowens. Claude had accepted the Lord as his Savior.
Survivors include, his mother, Dicie Bowens of Louisa, Ky.; brothers, Roger Lee Bowens of Prichard, WV; Gary (Donna) Bowens of Fort Gay, WV; Randy (Karen) Bowens of Fort Gay, WV; Rick (Susan) Bowens of Fort Gay, WV; and Larry Bowens; sisters, Barbara McCormick of Dayton, Ohio; Diane Grim of Fort Gay, WV; Bessie Barker of Paintsville, Ky..
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2016 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steven Ramey officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Community Cemetery, Webb, WV.
Visitation will be 6:00 until 9:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Young Funeral Home Chapel, Louisa, Ky.
