Glen Edward Wellman, 70, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at ThreeRivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky.
Glen was born August 26, 1945 in Fort Gay, WV a son of the late Walter and Maude Holt Wellman. Glen was a retired water technician for Special Metals, he was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the Vinson Lodge #66, he was also a previous member of the Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Dept. Glen was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Maude Wellman.
Survivors include his loving wife, Loretta Sue Wellman of Fort Gay,, WV; son, James Edward (Kimberly) Wellman of Union, Ky.; daughters, Angela Bowers of Louisa, Ky.; Lori (David) Dierking of New Albany, IN; Grandchildren, Chloe, Courtney, Corisa, Tyler, Jonathon, Matthew, Julia, Amara and Ivy; great grandchild, Michael.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Goble and Bro. Bill Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at the Hammond Cemetery, Louisa, Ky.
Visitation will be 6:00 until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
