Kenneth V. Beck
1944 – 2016
Kenneth V. Beck 71, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his home.
Kenneth was born April 16, 1944 in Louisa, the son of the late Kenneth R. and Virginia Maxine Beck. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ellsworth Reed Beck, and grandson, Michael “Coty” Beck.
Survivors include wife, Eloise ‘Ellie’ Beck; son, Michael (Karli) Beck; daughter Victoria “Shawn” Beck, LPN (Roy Fields) all of Louisa. 5 sisters, Mary Louise “Marty” Miller, Faye Huston, Grace Belcher, Jane Beck and Doris Ann “Dodie” Larson all of Florida. 3 grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Rucker of Hazard, Levi Beck and Karle Beck, both of Louisa. 1 granddog Sir Patrick “Pat” Beck of Louisa. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
Kenneth proudly served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967 as an E-5 nuclear weapons maintenance specialist. He was stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Funeral services, including military funeral honors, are 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 23 at Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Beck Family Cemetery under the direction of Young Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
