Laura Ellen (Berry) Hackney
1921 – 2016
Laura Ellen (Berry) Hackney 95 of Blaine, KY went to be with the Lord Sunday May 8, 2016 (Mothers Day).
She was born March 25, 1921 to Perlina E. (Chandler) Berry and Nelson Berry in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Ray F. Hackney and her youngest son Donald W. Hackney.
Survivors include two sons Ralph L. Hackney and wife Lucille of Grove City, Ohio and Larry Hackney and wife Mary E. of Blaine, KY; two daughters Karen S. Dickson and husband Charles of Galloway, Ohio and Lois J. Hollingsworth and husband Ted of Grove City, Ohio. She is Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She will be loved and sadly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 12th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Jordan and Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Castle Cemetery at Blaine, KY.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
