Raymond Russell Parks II, age 68, of Louisa, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at home in Louisa.
Mr. Parks was born March 30, 1947 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late Raymond Russell and the late Beatrice May (Childers) Parks.
In addition to his parents Mr. Parks is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lee Parks. Also
preceding him in death are five siblings; Herb Parks, Bob Parks, Willie Parks, Dave Parks and Virginia Lee Parks.
Mr. Parks was a Carpenter.
He is survived by one daughter: Angie Rose and husband Marvin of Louisa, KY and two sons: Rusty Parks and wife Meagen of Grove City, OH and Herbie Parks and wife Kristi of Louisa, KY; also a “son at heart” Mike McBride of Grove City Ohio ; one sister Opal Tomack of Lancaster Ohio and one brother, Paul Hall of Louisa. Mr Parks also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Britta Kitts, Heather Church, Jessica Parks, Emma Parks, Riley Parks, Abby Moore, Brad Parks and little Herbie Parks. Mr. Parks was also blessed with five great grandchildren: Baylee Kitts, Ryan Moore, Noah Moore, Brantlee Church and a child to be.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa, KY with Rev. Rick May officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Wheeler Family Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 14 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
