Tom Joe Bradley, 84, of Louisa, KY

Tom Joe Bradley, 84, of Louisa, KY passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 12, 2023 following an extended illness.

Tom was born August 20, 1938 in Dennis, KY to the late Charles D., Sr. and Opal (Pinkerton) Bradley.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an Operator at the KY Power/AEP Big Sandy Plant for 32 years.

Tom lived for 54 years in his home in Lawrence County, raising beef cattle and large gardens. He was a talented singer and sang in churches and funerals with many choirs and quartets throughout the years. Tom was a man of great faith and lived out his faith in all that he did.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Laura Gray, Wanda Miller Hayes and Phyllis Dotson, sister-in-law Louise Bradley and brothers-in-law Dr. James Hayes and Thaddeus Miller.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jo Ann Cyrus Bradley, and his three children, Amy Taylor, Luanne (Brian) Finley and Thomas (Cari) Bradley . He was the proud grandfather of six, Logan Thomas Finley of Kent, WA, Bethany Taylor of Lexington, KY, Brock Finley, of Nicholasville, KY, Kyle Taylor of Lexington, KY , Charlie Bradley and Lily Bradley of Louisa. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Darrell Bradley and Steve (Barbara) Bradley of Louisa, his sister Agnes (Jim) Lyon of Florida and brother-in-law Larry Dotson of St. Louis ,MO as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Community Hospice Care Center Ashland, KY

Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Louisa with Brother Rick May officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday, May 15, 2023 in the Young Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Bradley and his family.
