After enjoying the sport of skiing from the age of 4 and moving to the mountains, our founder Robert discovered he needed to work to survive. So he got a job maintaining ski lifts at Squaw Valley. When he left lift maintenance in order to ski more his boss suggested he paint ski lifts. Soon Heavenly Valley and Yan Lifts picked Robert up and Tower Painters was born. After 40 years we’re still at it, now with more company members all as equally dedicated as Robert. Robert still skis 4-5 days a week in the off season!
